    It's in the south. Of course not.

    <British Citizen>
    It wasn't in my back yard so I don't give a flying one, but it beats
    having to go out and make another shrine of flowers.

    <my own view>
    It puts paid to that post that someone did reviewing his visit to the
    bash where he thought it'd gone too tame and safe, and wasn't risky or
    dangerous enough.

    Heh, we had a very bad smack just up the road last week, 2 young lads
    sadly died trying to test their car's top speed; unfortunately a tree
    brought this to a somewhat abrupt close.

    Flowers, balloons etc, the usual assorted detritus of grief has
    steadily been growing on the spot where it happened. This morning I
    drove past and there's a bloody Peugeot in the ditch too. Weird kind
    of tribute I thought.

    Hardly a tragedy. Just a bit of decaff on my laptop
    and it is funny now I've cleaned it up.

    Good point, well made.

    <thinks>

    What if it was Vulcan blood? It would be green.

    And *everyone* knows green cars are unlucky.

    They apparently made a porno film that was a parody of Star Trek, called
    oh shit er, can't remember, and the other Vulcan precious bodily fluids
    were green as well.

    Last night - they showed TYO Bambi on BBC4, and later on, Braindead on
    Film4! What a treat that was.

    If it wasn't so tragic, it wouldn't be funny. And anyway, a dead Peugeot
    isn't very tragic.

    One came past me on the motorway not long ago. I was driving along at a
    steady 90 when it flew past me like I was parked up. **** off great long
    forks and bars about 5ft wide. The pilot looked like Christ on a bike and
    the bike sounded like a B17 on steroids.

    Very impressive actually, but he'll suffer from shoulder trouble in a year
    or two.

    I didn't go to inspect. There is now a semi deflated red helim balloon,
    which looks a bit sad though.
