a while back I posted a link to youtube showing someone ride an R-GS over a
rope bridge in S America. This one shows two people riding Ligurische
Grenzkammstrasse in the Alps that give the chap a ride for his money in the
bonkers stakes. The bit at 2 mins and again at 3 mins look "interesting".

I turned the clip off, couldn't hack it. Second guy to pop over the
ridge at 3mins+ was too much.

    is this any better?

The road is wider - the KTM even passes a Smart, or similar, car. There's a
    safety wall in places.

    Stunning scenery in places.

  11. Fucking madness, but they probably know the track well.
    This comment had me chuckling...

    "geriatric1927
Very exhausting, these tracks are very similar to those that we came
across in the Scottish Six Day Trial. I rode in that event in 1952 on a
Norton 500T with no rear suspension and 7 inches ground clearance. Some
days were 150 miles in length so can understand the thrill and
    experience."

Jeebus, I wouldn't want to meet anyone coming the other way.

It looks as bad as that "King's Walk" or whatever it's called near
    Carmichael's gaff.

Or even get to a bit that was totally impassable and try and turn-around.

Wheelie it so it's near vertical and keep hold as you slide off the back
and put both feet down, shimmy around through 180 degs, with back against
wall and bike hanging over sheer drop, with back tyre between legs, drop
    front wheel down, ride off.

    Simples.

Heh, there is a mountain at the back of my city, which is a natural
park. I once told a very early version of TomTom (circa 2000) to take
me to the other side "on a shortest path basis". I never expected
TomTom maps to be that detailed, neither the Ford Sierra to be such a
great off-roader (and no, it was a RWD, not 4x4), specially across
    pedestrian paths :)
