    Motorcyclists on speeding charges
    January 12, 2005

    TWO motorcyclists were picked up after driving at almost 200km/h on a
    Sydney motorway, police said today.

    One of the motorcyclists was detected travelling at 193km/h on the M2
    while the second accelerated away from police before being caught.

    Both were carrying pillion passengers.

    A 38-year-old Condell Park man and a 28-year-old man from Elwood in
    Victoria were charged with driving at a dangerous speed and using
    obscured number plates.

    Both men were to appear at Hornsby Local Court on February 23.
