Aldi did a giant Lego bridge-trapsnorter truck thing a while ago for 12
quid. They've sold on eBay since for anything between 7 and 23 quid.

    This'll qb.

Just been in a local Lidl to stock up on the ground coffee. Pillock of
a bod on till was closing. Not a problem in itself being told to move
to another till. What was the problem was that the two ladies behind me,
also diving for the short queued till with well stocked trolleys, were
told by said bod that they could stay in the queue.

Livid I were. Especially as I had one item and I finished up behind a
bod with an 87ZU piled high trolley load.

Mananager doesn't take complaints according to the staff on the next
till! "Write to HO, address is on that leaflet" except it aint. So I've
chatted to a bod at Customer Services and dropped the Sex Discrimination
Act in front of them. I was tempted to offer the Race Relations Act as
an alternative as I had That Hat on.

I shall report back when summat comes in reply. Bod I spoke to was very
helpful so no complaints, yet, about Customer Services.

And, whilst I was on the phone, binmen^WWaste Recycling Operatives or
whatever they're called this week dropped a "Garden Waste" bin off for
me. Give that I don't have a garden, nor anywhere to put the bin, I've
left a message on the Council's answerphone asking them to take it away
again. I suspect that the two crates inside it for jars and glass might
well have gone missing by then as they look to be quite handy storage
    containers for someone.
