They have? How come the Conservatives governed for 88 years of the
    20th Century?

Who on earth needs to look that up?

And, what on earth has the post-45 Labour government, the most
reforming in modern history, got to do with *all* current governments'
desire to monitor and control their citizens?

I've been doing some ringing around, it's not going to end here.
Couple of the smaller rallies have had challenges and are having
hearings in early June. Looks like Wozwolf may not happen despite
police and fire not raising objections.

Veggie you heard anything from your involvement?

Misogynistic, that's a man who hates every bone in a woman's body,
    except his own.

Patronising, that's when you talk down to someone, right?

Well, this much is true. When Timo can find a modern government
that's given more freedom to its citizens, then I might listen to him
    singling out Labour.

What principle is that? It was Labour governments, whatever their
faults, that decriminalized homosexuality, legalized abortion and
    removed theatre censorship.
What Fascist legacy have Atlee and Wilson left?

    They didn't.

The Liberals were in power for nearly 17 years, and Labour in power for
    26 1/2 years.

....then there's the just over ten years of coalition and national
    governments, albeit led by Tories.

So that puts Conservative governments in full power for about half of
    that 88 years.
