    It has always been so.

I'd like to see it extended to religion. Close all churches .

I'd oppose most of these bike shows on the basis that they're boring
    and attract common, ugly people.

snip sigs please, it's easier to follow if a sub thread gets larger.
I was going to catch up with the mcc side of my acquaintances this
weekend, then I wasn't due to visitor, now I'm debating whether to go
along and see what's going on.
I was wondering if the smaller rallies would start getting hit.
Thanks for that. I'm now quietly seething and wondering what to do
    about it

When the two major events that are being canceled, the Bulldog and RnB,
are organised by the two factions who are at war with each other
    ....that's when.

I'd oppose them on the grounds that they attract fat northern blokes
who would walk around drinking canned bitter and eating chips, whilst
going "Eee, that's fookin' nice" whilst looking at any of the almost
    identical black choppers assembled.

I'd suggest contacting your MP & asking him/her to confirm that all
carnivals will be cancelled due to the likelyhood of violence, as
proven by the number of deaths & stabbings over the years.

yes, I know. But each round of "whatever the government tell us to be
outraged about" just gives them more excuse/powers to bring about a
    police state.

I still am frankly amazed that the UK features as the 2nd highest
country for government survelleince of private citizens, just behind
    China.

I keep getting invited to go to that with a couple of quite tasty burds
I know, and every year after seeing the photos that appear from there I
just cannot bring myself to go.

Aside from my two friends, it seems every woman who attends is munted
to the nth degree, and all the men look like they bought their clothes
from the same 'jeans and garish rock band T-shirts for fat blokes' shop.

Don't forget that the patch factions, at least in their opinion, have
a measure of interest/control in and over all the local non-patch bike
    clubs.
