more bike bashing ?

  1. My god-daughter at age 7 could sit on my Blackbird, hold the
handlebars and put both feet firmly on the pegs. She must be 12-13 now
(haven't seen her for a couple of years). God knows how tall she'd be
now. 4-5 years time her dad is going to be sitting on the front
    verandah with a shotgun though . . .

I'm getting this visual picture of gNat learning to ride a 250 with
you sitting on the back. Does the front wheel maintain contact with
    the road? :)

You make that sound like it would be a bad thing.

Ah grasshopper, I have a number of vehicles that appear to be
licenced. For each of our four cars (trying to sell a couple now), two
trailers (car and bike), carvan and motorcycle, the State Guvmint of
WA issues me a piece of paper which has printed in the header in quite
large font "Licence and Third Party Insurance Policy". May I suugest
you write to the WA Minister for transport advising him or her of the
    grammatical error.
Goody, the ad hom. That's a lose Gerry. Go back to your hill. I'm
    growing beans now.

  6. You have got high hopes if you think it will be 4 - 5 years time

  7. Some people can only spell reverse right two times out of four.

Aren't I lucky to be in that category ?

    pilots in a war zone

After being locked in her bedroom for 9 years we released the daughter
    to a church social at 21 ( not :)
I found early on answering the door with a scowl and a loud "WHAT"
    worked wonders

  11. The above definition was cut and pasted from the Dept of Transport
website. However, intro models like the V-Moto Milan can't do 60.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

My girlfriends Milan has been clocked at 70kph with 100kg of me on it. That
was on a flat road too. It may of been derestricted by a previous owner
    however.

Then it probably is no longer the intro model. We had two Milans at
work (mostly because we did their website) and they would do 55 with a
light person, 65 with a heavy person, downhill with a tailwind. They
were the initial model, current WA sold models may have been changed
to keep up with the WA laws.

Could be. I think it is a 2006. I know it went in for a rebuild under
warranty which the previous owner said made it a lot faster.

It was a CB125 actually and it certainly wasn't the power making it
    wheelstand!

(gNat's abut the only remaining item in that pic. Both dogs and both bikes
are gone, as is the fridge-trailer!
Even Michelle has traded in her old conveyance [at the rear near the
hose-reel] and drives a car now instead!)

Is a reverse parka a foul weather hoody you wear with a backwards baseball
