I will make another feeble attempt. See if you can figure out the
relationship between Fannie, Freddy, the banking crisis and bailouts (other
than the automakers) and the people in Congress and his appointments in his
soon to be administration.

It is somewhat complex, requiring a little thought and putting 2 plus 2
together.

If you are unable to do that, then you have no credibility on any of this
stuff and are just spouting rhetoric from the scripted propaganda you watch
and read.

Lets see if you have the desire and ability to seek and understand truth.

I know you wont get it, but if Pender helps you and you do, then for bonus
points, you can research why the automakers are in real trouble other than
the Greedy CEOs. This one is extra hard, requiring real thought.

I did not want to say all of that like that, but I am glad you did. I tried
to give him an out.

For those that think it can not get worse, just wait. Can anyone that is a
regular on this group tell me how they are really worse off than they were a
few years ago?

If it is because you lost your job, tell me why your job loss is any worse
than anyone else's in years past. Why in the 80's, I lost my job in
construction because the housing market went bad. I have had to adapt more
than one time for work. Moved from Florida to Oklahoma for a job one time.

I remember Texas Instrument has been in the business of laying off for
years. They build up, then lay off in grand style.

General Dynamics in Fort Worth fixed it where a person could buy lots of
boats, houses and cars real cheap when they lost contracts and layed off
thousands.

Stock market down. Has it ever been down before?

Anyone with any sense, could have looked at earnings ratios of companies and
known they were over priced. Now people are hollering because the market has
one more time corrected itself.

I have been telling people I know for the last 2 years to sell off. I was
off about 9 months on my prediction that it was going to fall like a house
of cards. One of my friends told me he was making 2 grand a day on his
investments. He just knew it was going to last forever. I wonder what they
are worth now. I have to call him and find out.

I am not too smart, but even I could tell shit was over priced. But maybe I
am not too dumb since I sold everything a little over a year ago and took a
nice profit.

War? Have we never been to war? I think Louie and Pender were having sex
with girls and women that were calling them number one GI. Then the boys
would be involved with trying to kill her dad and brother back in the day.
George Bush did not invent war.

None of this stuff is new, with the exception so many more people are
corrupt and in on the take that has caused this latest round of fininancial

Not any one presidential administration had a smooth tenure...and very
few were elected twice..
They all had problems. Each and every new decade will likley be either a
better one, or worse than the previous one.
Not being a party guy, I usually vote for one party or the other, every

I chose to vote democratic....we've had repubicans in control for the
'bitter part of the last 8 yrs...and I imagine that is why about 56% of

LOL! Gas prices have declined due to excess inventories, and
the commensurate demand decline. If you think B.O. had any
influence on those events, I'm sure you'll gladly admit to his
blame once the prices again escalate.
