Show me where I've moaned consistently about this in the (recent) past.

Or, come to that moaned, whinged and whined.

I recall reading somewhere that, when accused, a guilty party will
always question the "evidence" rather than issue a denial.
It's been a consistent theme of yours for sometime now: how this place
    is going to the dogs.

It's only what you make it and as long as a few keep making lives
miserable for others it'll remain the ukrm you've known and loved for
    a long time.

Spot on. It is sad seeing the amount of grey hair in the paddock these
days. Partially a reflection of the fact that, with usually only four
runs per meeting and only one meeting a year at some hills, it is an
advantage to have been doing it for years. Roy Lane was still seeing
whippersnappers off in his car way in to his dotage.

Fortunately there were one or two youngsters there learning the ropes,
but we need more new blood (but not on the track hopefully).

So you don't have any proof as such, or at least none that you can
present (or can be bothered to search out.)

Seems a little rich though, that you issue what seems to be an
accusation and then suggest my questioning of it is admitting 'guilt'.

"I recall reading somewhere that people when asked to produce proof and
finding themselves unable often bluster and try to divert the issue with
    quotes"
I'm genuinely surprised that this is your perception. The post was
*meant* to be humorous 'cos the forum was very 'soft'.

To be honest I don't really give that much of a **** whether this place
goes to the dogs or not; I spend more time here than I should.

I am surprised though at your response it seems a little excessive for a
single two or three line post but not, I suppose, if it's an irritation
that's been building up for some time.

    Option 3.
No, that was a genuine istr moment. Something to do with those "news
conferences" that the police seem so keen for parents of missing kids
    to hold.
    Fair enough.
    Don't we all?
It's not an irritation that's been building: it just *seems* to me
that you're generally unsatisfied about ukrm as an entertainment
medium - I commented on this last September - but I accept I may have
been unfair in singling you out for criticism.

Ah, well I'd have been generally unsatisfied with life as an
entertainment medium, not ukrm specifically although I accept it would
be hard to see the difference.

And re 'unfair' it would be more than a little well, to quote Mr
Champion, "hypocritical" of me to on the one hand appear disatisfied
that ukrm was going 'soft' and to whine about "unfair" at the same time.
Of course the fact it would be hypocritical doesn't mean I wouldn't do
    it...

Actually that is light. I don't really worry too much.

Anyway, what's all of this kisses at the end of posts lark?

This wouldn't have happened in the past you know.

Actually, hang onto it. I may need to teach my son how to ride like a
    hooligan.

I think the bike encourages it, it wheelies off the throttle in first
and is capable of donuts with little encouragement. Fantastic thing,
I've come off it once trying to get my knee down (in a field) and have
come off the back wheelying it (I came off the back but managed to keep
the bike upright, running alongside it...)

When I stop and think about it, it's a bit like the feeling I got riding
    a DT175 when I was 17.
