Tassles are designed for a practical reason, this reason has now been
superceeded by the use of modern waterproofing techniques:)

No way, with all that lot it's still less than a UK spec Wing would
    have been.

    UK spec (i.e. shite) £16750,
Canadian (wiv lots of shiny bits, and extra lights) £13000.

Easy decision, even 7 years ago.

You bolted the clutch to the chassis, and you still wonder why the
    gearbox went AWOL? :)

    Givi Wingrack,box and paniers.

Why? Usual reasons that I didn't have to wear a haversack, use
    throwovers etc.

Worthwhile buy. As well as the above, keeps luggage dry and more
secure. Plus has saved the 900 from more expensive damage after one
    drop and one lowside.

B12: luggage. Yes is was worth it.

F650: came with luggage and heated grips and were well worth it.

Mmm, I did mine twice in the space of two weeks like a complete twit.

First time "hmm bike isn't moving... push a bit.. CRACK.. bugger" which took
out a half-circle from the disc lock.

Second time something similar, only it just cracked, which you can't
actually see, so it's not that bad.

When I sell the bike I'll probably superglue the bit that snapped off on in
the carpark of the dealer :-O

I don't own a disk lock. That's the safest way.

you're correct in your assertion. However, I'm less than keen on
parking my Fireblade in central London without one.

Of course your fireblade is more desirable than any of my bikes, but
I've never used any kind of lock while parking in central London.

don't get me wrong - I'm not saying the disklock stops the bike
getting stolen, but I'm paranoid enough to want to use it.

I leave a big pink girly hairband on my throttle when I use my disk lock.
So far I haven't forgotten it.

yep, keeps the penske looking like new2: Revolution revalved forks.
Why? cos stock storm forks are cack, dive to much under braking, skip about
    on bumpy bits.
Now, nice and plush. Can get away with panick braking hard into a corner.

    3: Revolution spec Penske shock
Why? cos stock storm shock is cack. Back end gets all squirmy in fast
    sweepers.
Now, sorted back end. Lets the tyres do there stuff

    4:Dunlop 207RRs
Why? Cos the Macrapam M90's were cack.
    sticks like a sticky thing

    5:High level Mig Cans.
Why? cos they were cheap and sound good.

    Whats next?
Possible flat bar conversion, black powder coat finish to wheels, swing-arm
and frame, or a Honda Prelude 2.2Vtec
