    <snip>

Not very exciting here I'm afraid Alan, but here goes:

    1. A digital clock

Why? Cos I am a thick newbie, who suddenly realised that rolling up the
sleeve of his leather jacked to look at his watch whilst on the move was not
    a good idea.
10/10 only cost a tenner and works great.

    2. A flyscreen

Why? To deflect the wind off my chest
10/10 improves (I think) the look of the front end (of the bike), and does
    alleviate the wind blast.

    Next:
Dunno, not too many options for a CB500, maybe one of those Carbon Can Co
    end cans.

Surely a sign that you are in need of a new bike :)

  3. I've never modified anything on any of my bikes. I have contemplated a
race can but decided I don't wish to give the police any extra reason
for stopping me or for adding another "offence" to any list that they
    might be creating.

    OK, here's mine

DB Screen to stop my lid lifting as it seems I am the perfect height to get
the standard screen to deflect air straight at my neck
yes, it works. But a little buffering at speeds above 105mph

R&G frame protectors, because it you should not do it then I probably will.
Cheaper than the fairings they are supposed to protect
Not found out if they work yet, watch this space...

Oxford heated grips, because they where free from bike mag subscription
    Too bloody hot at times

Next on the list for me is the factory panniers and possible bar lifters to
take some weight off my wrists

Hmm, recently I have been looking at Zephyrs on ebay (750 or 1100).
Dunno why, but I still think they look soooooo right.

We did, and I got a sensible CB500 (which is great), but I still fancy one
    of them Zephyrs
ISTR you and your bro extolling the virtues of the CB

yep and we still do. I just, for some reason I cannot figure, thought you
might have seen a few more bikes that might interest you.

Mind you m8, what can I say, you kept the CB longer than I kept the TT :)

Original screen put back on after the orange tango one.
Original end can sourced for MOT.
    Big number plate
    Standard sized indicators.

I like my bikes as Mr. Honda/Suzuki/Kawasaki/Yamaha intended.

    Spotlights
    Cigarette lighter

Topbox lid cubby and vanity mirror :)
    Pannier lid cargo nets
    Fairing sidelights
    Headlamp protector
    Optimate connection
    High Output Headlamp bulbs

As the initial purchase was a "rocker" moment, I suppose all the mods
    must be too.

    Blackbird:

    Fender Extender
    Hugger
    Datatool Veto Evo
    K&N Air filter
    Tank protector
    Heli Bars
    GPS Mount
    Double Bubble Screen
    Scottoiler
    Promotive "Silencers"
    Givi Wingrack
    Optimate Connection

All "mod" with the possible exception of the pipes.
Heli bars were effin expensive, but the bike was gone without them.

    Waiting to fit:
    GL:
    Progressive Springs
    Trigger Wheel
    Oxford Hot-hands
    Rings of Fire
    BB:
    Hagon Springs
