About 3 times the price of Altbergs - that's what Manolo Blahniks are.

Having done a google to find out what Manolo Bahniks are,
I'm shocked anyone on this newsgroup admits to knowing what
    they are...!

    I don't.

Already? These things just creep up on you when you're not expecting
    them, don't they?

I saw a portrait of Manolo Blahnik about 20 years ago. I think it was by
    Annie Leibovitz.

FFS £3700 already and it still hasn't reached reserve. The seller is a
**** and the bidders are twats. I wouldn't have paid over £2800 for it.

Why do you think I asked for lemonade? When hot drinks are being made in
that house I try to be at least in the next county.

I'm sure I can manage something suitably life threatening with the
lemonade, if I put my mind to it.

    Pah! Nothing so sedate.

Explosions, fire, missing limbs at the very least. Not much point
bothering otherwise, I get to play with dead people every day, so I've
    got to make it interesting.

As you tried to blind and burn me to a crisp while making me a simple
cuip of coffee, I've no doubt that anything involving compressed gases
could be made fatal in your hands. I would include lemonade in that.

No, no. I didn't *try* to do it.

    It all comes naturally.

I do still feel rather bad about it though.
