My god, how many mobile speed camera Vehicles does the Bracks Government
want. With in the spate of 5 Km I went past 2. On the second one I was
taking off at the lights trying to get a little a head of traffic and have
no idea how fast I was going as I like to watch the road not the Speedo.
The waiting game begins. With 5kmh lead way I think I'm gone for sure.

We can only pray that the Bracks government get voted out next elections.

Whether or not Bracks et al get voted out next election, let's hope it isn't
    for this.

I'm a big fan of speed cameras. I think they're really cool. Catches lots of
psychos who want to kill me. I think getting killed would hurt. Most
    yukkies.

I also like speeding of course, on my little motorised bicycle. (upon which,
we are ~~most of the time ~~ of minimal threat to our fellow citizens)
Having a whole bunch of cameras hidden about the place adds to the game.

Don't like the heat, sunshine? Perhaps this isn't your game.

Speed camera policy is set by the police and implemented by the private
contractor who operates the cameras. This has not changed with a change of
government in the past and is unlikely to change with any change of government
    in the future.

There was such community outrage at the last state election over speed cameras
that the Bracks government increased their ruling majority.

    yup
The last liberal shadow minister that advocated getting rid of the
    cameras lost his seat.
    (shadow transport minister)
You honestly think they would make a difference?

Probably not but getting rid of the wipe of 5 would help.

Not bloody likely, they'll milk it for all it's worth and then expand it
    further :)

Ah well, you know the solution.
