Whilst it is true to say he did not crack a win on the Cagiva it is unfair
given the prior (ie. before joinging Cagiva) experience of the two you
mention as if memory serves me correct Mladin went to Cagiva direct from the
Australian Supers when still only around 19 or 20 years old.

It would also be safe to say that he was hardly given a chance by Cagiva to
develop as did they not dump him after only 1 year.

Irrespective, to win 5 titles in one class of motorcycling when that class
is quite competitive is extrodinary and he deserves the praise thrown his
    way.

    My worthless thoughts anyway

Also; he crashed and ground half his arse away in the pre-season (so it was
a half-arsed attempt!) and then half-way through the season they took his
top-level bikes off him when they signed Little-John and he had to finish
the season on cast-offs and bitsers.

He made a BIIIIG mistake ever thinking he was gonna' get a fair go from the
    Eyeties!
