What exactly is the rule change he is talking about.

In unrelated news, scientists report that the sun rose in the east this
morning and is expected to set in the west.

As anyone knows from my intermittent posting I stand up for Mladin on
    quite a regular basis.

On this one though both he and Suzuki are wrong, and just make
themselves look bad. If the rule was directed at Suzuki in particular,
then they have a point. The rule is directed at all manufacturers -
and as Mark points out Honda just appears to have not been affected as
    much.

The balance will be redressed when Suzuki brings out a new model that
has more appropriate injector bodies - this is the nature of
    production based racing.

    Just my 0.02.

    Cheers
    Dean.

Oh, I knew about that. I thought he was talking about some
recent Suzuki only change. The Honda bikes have to live
with the same rules as his bike and they are the ones beating
him. He has nothing to complain about.

He seemed to be complaining about his own team as much as the rules.

Every time you bring the rules closer to stock, you make the influence
of the original bike greater. The Honda is a newer design that might be
that much closer to a racer before tuning. But every time you allow more
tuning, it becomes more of a game of how much money can you spend.

In BSB, the slightly more open rules seem to have allowed Suzuki to
remain competitive with the full on factory Honda. And it's also meant
that Kawasaki could get competitive very quickly. The balance seems to
have shifted away from the Ducatis as well. They can almost keep up with
the 4s but not quite. As usual separating the bike's performance from
the rider's and team's is hard.
