Some friends (Jayne & Pete) have just taken over The Plough at Water
Eaton (www.theplough.com), in the MK area, and it re-opened last
Friday. They are biker-friendly, the management and staff have bikes
    and ride them.

They are hoping to become the biker venue of choice for the area, with
good parking space, rock disco on Fridays and live music on Saturday
evenings, so if you get a chance drop by and see what you think.

They're still getting organised, but they've got their priorities
right: the beer system pipes have had a damned good clean.

One bar has been re-decorated so far, and the rest will follow.

I have no commercial connection with their pub, in case you wondered.

The Lone Tree, Thornborugh has also been refurbed and re-opened as a
biker-friendly pub. Its on the main road between MK and Buckingham
(A421) opposite the Padbiry turn and has a silhouette sculpture of a
bike out front to help you find it.

    True.

The Lone Tree is more aligned to the 1%er brotherhood, whereas The
Plough hope to attract a more diverse clientele.

I'm sure you also know someone else who lives around the corner from
that pub, that could also be dragged out...

    Probably.

It's just the mention of rock disco gave me pictures of Auvache
headbanging to status quo and there was no-fucking-way I was suffering
that in silence; an image shared is an image, well, you know.

I'd have thought "biker venue of choice" would be enough to turn your
    toes.
