Seen in Hammersmith, an "ENGLISHMAN" (Cross of St. George painted on
Helmet) riding a French registered Harley.

A few years back in the States I saw a "Pearl Harbor Survivor" bumper
    sticker on a Honda car.

I pointed it out to a mate who said "Well, it doesn't actually say
    *American* Pearl Harbor Survivor...".

It was weird in Italy last week.

British insignia seem to be fashionable. Leather & Denim jackets sporting
stylised "London tour" back patches seemed popular. Clothing and scooters
were adorned with CoStG or UJ flags. With almost every shop in Naples
selling clothes, handbags or shoes the Belstaff logo was everywhere.

And there was a young Italian with a Welshman stuck to his back?

You'd think so with my natural good looks and charming personality, but no.

I did seem to be popular with the merkins, especially the group of grannies
from California. Perhaps I could exploit this trait by marrying a celibate
widow with a 20 year old grandson....

I saw a number of union jacks on the young ladies in Zurich. They were
very easy on the eye, but it didn't look right without the can of
    carling.

Naaah, not even parliament and the Admiralty have sorted that one out.
Iirc, if it *is* flown from the jackstaff it can only be a union jack,
anything else either term is ok, but union jack is more common.

Anyway, when we going to lose that crappy blue X thing on it?

I'm after an Arai in the Cathcart colours from last year so I can have
the Spic flag airbrushed over one of the Union flags. I can't find one
    anywhere in XS.

ITYM to format your pedantic correction properly. Tell you what, try a
fixed-width font and have another bash. I promise I'll read it, and
    change my ways.
