  1. Got a letter today from "MasterQuote Insurance Motorcycle Team" which
    starts with...

"Following the closure of Mitchell and Partners, MasterQuote is
pleased to advise you, that with immediate effect, we have reached
agreement to provide continuing service for your insurance policy."

    <and a lot more waffle>

"Please be advised that the M&P Archway branch is now closed. If you
need to make a change to your policy or ask us questions please call
    us on...."

This is the first Ive heard that M&P had closed. anyone know any more?

Adrienne M Jenn emerged from their own little world to say
No doubt another clueless call centre replacing a specialist. MQ parent,
BDML, seem to be in an expansive mode. They have also acquired the bike
insurance part of the soon to be defunct Hill House Hammond chain. This is
odd as the HHH parent company is Aviva, owners of Norwich Union. Is this a
sign that NU are pulling out of bike insurance?

I got the same letter today. I'm sure I read something about this
somewhere but for the life of me can't think where it was.

On a positive note they're taking some of the M&P staff. Still bet it
    costs more next year!

Nope. I actually found out this morning when I rang up to check up on
some minor details. I found the letter when I got home.

Their new call queueing system ain't the fastest by a long chalk. The
person I got through to was helpful, though.

Blimey, I'd assumed that the letter was just more postal spam until I
read this. Good job I'm not as quick at binning stuff as I should be.

Hmmm, Wonder how much the premiums will go up then?
