When last we heard from this intrepid writer, he was undergoing the
latest in torture as his family was installing new floor coverings
    throughout the house.

It's all the bad things about moving (boxing everything up) with none
of the good things (you don't get to actually move). Eventually it
all has to be unpacked again yet you're still in the same town.

When reassembling my PC it spontaneously rebooted 3 times and then
failed to see the hdd as a boot device; requesting a repair disk. ACK!

Needless to say, recovery has been another moving experience and no
updates to the "My Hell" web page have been done since M$'s "let's
lead you into oblivion" feature activated. Once I finish getting all
my programs and data recovered, I'll update the site with the details.

On the positive side I was able to ride at least a couple of times
this week (when I wasn't having to get paint or baseboards from Lowes)
and I did get this slick 250 Gb SATA drive and a +-RW dual layer DVD
burner to ease the pain some.

Have you heard from him lately? Last I talked with him he was doing
well but can't ride because of the effects of the chemo.

No I haven't, I didn't even know he was sick. That sucks, he was doing
great on the weight loss! And I know he loves that FZ1.

Do you have an address for him at home?

I can try to email him from work or post a message on the internal
newsgroup, I can let you know in a couple of days.
