mirror replacment

    Can anyone tell me how to replace the mirror on my 1981 gl 1100 or tell me
    how I can get the instructions ?

    Get a phillips head screwdriver, unscrew two screws, pull the mirror
    away from the fairing. Reinstall is reversal.

    Did you REALLY race for "Huskyvarner"?

    This is how you do it.
    If you want to get to those nuts, you'll have to remove the turn signals
    like I said, then remove 4 nuts holding the speakers on. Then the nuts the
    mirror screws go into are visible.

    A "real racer" would be able to remove those mirrors without any
    tools....just find a few good curves and no more mirrors....

    I guess Team "Huskyvarner" didn't teach you those little things, huh
