Ministerial Responsibility

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by steve auvache, Apr 16, 2007.

  1. Once upon a time there was usually just a short sentence between the
statement, "I take full responsibility" and "I have offered my
    resignation to the Prime minister."

    Changing times eh.

So let me say this, mea culpa, nothing more to see here, move along
    please.

  2. The selling of the stories. There was a few Brig-Gen Disgusted
Tunbridge Wells who tried to make issues about them getting caught but
even the gutter press acknowledge that shit happens, especially in those
sorts of circumstances, so that was left dead in the water.

Honour, loyalty, duty and all the other crap that should be associated
with serving in Her Gracious Maj's Armed Forces.

Snot about honour anymore that is a dead cert. These are changing times
and no mistake. All very sad really.

Ah but, you see he's taken full responsibilty for something that was
entirely the Navy's fault. Different, innit. It's the Navy that should
    resign, obviously.

They need better weapons. A decent gun'll sort the problem out.
