the chief reason is that you're supposedly an intelligent person, but
yet you expect us to believe that you'd be so crass and irresponsible
to wheelie a cold-engined demonstrator bike outside the dealership
who'd been kind enough to lend it to you - not that you're not capable
    of pulling the wheely.

I'm happy to say that I can't wheelie a motorcycle while I have my
    knee slider sliding.

What I dispute is whether it's possible.
It's your problem if it's not true.
We've been on two ride-outs together (ignoring Windy's and Tab's
funeral - which were journeys not ride-outs). I remember you doing a
couple of wheelies, but they weren't all that. Which is why I find
your self-styled image as a stunt god somewhat hard to take.

Of course it's possible. I've never (even tried to) GMKD but I've
certainly had the front tyre lift off the deck while still cranked
over, coming off a rounbdabout, for example. I'm puzzled as to why you
    think it's not possible.
Jeez, whatever happened to the DILLIGAF Blaney we all used to know and
love? Oh, he packed in the booze and turned into a grumpy old fart?
    Right, ta, that'd explain it.

    ....and then he woke up.

    Get a fucking grip.

I'm getting fed up of reading about your sublime Rossi-esque
bike handling skills. When in truth, you are merely average
at best. The year you raced in KRC, you were by all accounts,
not only the slowest rider on the grid, but also dangerous
with it. You were unpredictable and inconsistent, other teams
voiced their concerns about you on several occasions.

In the great scheme of things, I know roughly where
I stand in the bike riding skills queue (somewhere near the
back of your average club race). I also have the common sense
to know when to shut up about it too.
You've still got a dick, haven't you? Save the penis envy for when
(if) you ever become woman enough to finish the job. Wanker.

Genuinally nasty?! Ooh yes, see me here behind me computer looking nasty.
    TAKE THAT FOUL BEAST.

This is about you not being able to get your knee down isn't it? I'm in the
same boat, but with half the overall speed.
So maybe a barge, rather then a boat.
    Inflation - it's £50 now.

For my part, my comments about Molly's riding are IMO robust
and nothing more. If you stick yourself up on a pedastal then
be prepared for some frank scrutiny. There was nothing either
sniping or underhand in my approach. In fact I'd go as far as
to say that IMO it was fairly direct.

I will however cop to the penis envy bit. It was just too good
    a feed line to miss.
   )
Just occasionally it would be nice if 'experience' matched reality.

  16. You not on the clique@ukrm mailing list then?
Another question is, what constitutes brilliant racing ability?

A first stab at an answer might be "fantastic machine control",
because that would allow you to push the machine to the edge,
and still be in control. But that would make the best stunters
the best racers, which isn't true (afaik).

Probably a better stab at an answer would be "someone who
wins races", and that doesn't correlate with anything else
    in particular.
Huge wheelies, yes... wasting power getting front wheel high
in air rather than propelling forwards, etc.

And, with a danger of someone shouting "Timmmmaaaayyyyyy!" at this
point, I way I understood it was that racers don't *try* to get their
knee down, it's both a "lean indicator" (for those worried about
edges of tyres) and the weight shift that's important. The fact that
the knee is down is due to the fact that the bike is leaning over
so damn much, because the corner is being taken at such a damn fast
    pace.

And as we all know, it is possible to get ones knee down at walking
    pace.
One person's "huge minger" is another person's "cack-handed acceleration
    over a catseye".

Or was your entire post a rhetorical question, and I've just
    been "whooshed"?

It made it sound more like the local accent.

I've now got a Windsor version, as I don't know how they speak in
    Didcot. :)
