  4. Two omelettes, then. One today, one tomorrow.

    Ham today, cheese tomorrow.

    Sorted.

I almost always let novaboyz get a 'fast' start at lights as it's more
fun to sedately change to second *then* gas it.

    Mmmm torquey goodness.

Happened to me again yesterday. Approaching lights, filtering past some
cars, I see a bike behind. The front car left a large gap between
himself and the lights. I pull in to the left to make way for the
other bike. He lines up directly behind me. Bizarre.

My own personal rule is that, irrespective of how many other bikes are
at a set of red lights when I get there, I'm going to be the first off
the line when they turn green (well, amber).

Indeed - but with a caveat: having checked for amber-gambling cunts
shooting through the lights across me ...

However, in Norfolk I can at least understand what the locals are
    saying.

It's better they realise their limits and play it safe than being a hero
and adding another number to the books. While some buy the bike to ride
it, some buy it for the pure pose aspect of "I've got a motorbike,
they're cool and thus so am I". I'd rather the posers do hang back, if
    it's all the same.

As for the odd one or two that do ride okish, maybe they're having an
off day, it's not in the groove or whatever.

What gets me is people who don't realise that if you've caught up to
them in the first place you're going faster in general and they should
let you through, even if you are only on a <whatever>.

    Alan.T.Gower :
If it makes you feel any better:

On the way back from TOGs on Saturday, I was filtering assertively on the
M25 when a chap on a gsxr750 stormed past doing maybe 30 mph more than
my 100otc. He was using all 4 lanes, and weaving in and out of the cars
like they were an obstacle course, missing some of them by inches in the
brief time I could see him.
