A guy from Wisconsin claims he has put a million miles on his 1991 Chevy
    Silverado.

The story is in our local Paper, today.

Nothing has ever been done to the Engine, internally--said ''Frank
    Oresnick''.

However he said he has: put on 4 radiators, 3 gas tanks, 5
transmissions, six water pumps, and dozens of batteries, &tune ups.
Atleast a 1000 tires and misc. etc......hehe JayT.

(One of those ''Ba'lieve it, or NOT''. deals)

Can I borrow that Goldwing from you for about 3 years, before you wear
    it out?

Someone told me once that you were good about loaning your rides out
    for several years....

======I looked back at the article, he said 100,000 tires. However the
guy could brag about only putting on 4 radiators, couldnt he, TimBO-?-

4 radiators in a million miles is good; that's 250,000 miles per
radiatior! However, 100,000 tires is even worse than 1,000... now
he's only getting 40 miles per set of tires!!! That's AWFUL! Can
you imagine having to change your tires every forty miles for a
    million miles? That would SUCK!

===TIMBO:---Doggone, I dug it out of the trash basket, and read it
a'gin. He went on to say at the end of the article: ''I am still amazed
and certainly disappoined, at having such bad luck with tires, compared
to how well the engine held up, throughout the 1 million miles.''
He continued to say; ''I was changing tires every few weeks, it was
    awful''.
Atleast the writer of the article typed in a footnote; ''Mr Orinater did
admit, that he got most of the tires from the city dump''. I believe
that explains the ''tire weakness wonderment'', of such an otherwise
phenomenally published proposal of perhaps a particularly interesting
    philosophy.
