RedShad was going to ride anyway, so I went along. We met Big Eddy over in Dallas County, and headed towards Houston. I had the Sheriff with me, so I drove easy. Although the skies were cloudy the damp air felt moderate predepart, at speed it was chilly. Portions of Interstate 45 were still wet from a recent rain shower that I was happy to have missed. Lunch room at Fairfield was crowded but food was OK, you gotta eat. ---snipped---- At Hillsboro Big Eddy headed North on the Interstate, citing work. I suspect he had tired of the companions. However I will add; Big Eddy is so dependable, and dedicated to his work he may have indeed punched in. But then, on the other hand, Eddy is never honest with those he rides with. I glad he turned off, he blocks half the lane with the BBBarge, and acts like he doesn't know you when underway. To worsen matters, He was pissed account the RR museum at Teague was closed. The rest, being riders, when on Johnson County via Parker. We really enjoyed that part of today's ride, even bought some gas there on the Whitney side of Hillsboro. 411 median miles. Did not figure miles for Jerry as he came up short. I think we'll not have winter this year. Don't hide, ride. ....louie
The rope was tight before Jerry make it to us. Some get rained out, some get reined in. No go no show. ....louie
RedShad has pictures of yet another BJ's eatin' establishment. BJ's burgers, proudly standing in full non-compliance and defiance of any and all health departments. Adjacent to the RR tracks, it's convenient for those delayed by switching activities that block the Xing. RedShad is going to post, or at least copy BJay... possible franchise infringement. It is exact same spelling (BJ), blatant. ...louie

Yawl saw another one of BJ's eateries. Some Famous Double R Museum was not open. Yawl got gas somewhere around Hillsboro, but got over it, as the day went by. And in conclusion, determinded that winter is nearly over, here in the second week of November, just two weeks shy of Thankscoming Day, and advised folks like 'annoymus'' to ride, dont hide. Ride it, or loose it...something....(scratch thin top?) enJoyAble....MrJayT=
