Michelin's website gives you online maps, links to mapping software... but
no links to buy any of their actual physical maps.

Is this because they no longer make them, or something else?

Any recommendations on book store chains/online retailers that sell them?
Looked at Amazon but they seem to have a poor range (all 1-2 weeks
    delivery).

Cheers Paul - I did find them eventually - though their website lacks the
ability to search by Publisher (as opposed to Author).

That's not too far away actually so I might take a wander down.

dwb emerged from their own little world to say
My local Waterstones[1] carries the whole range of 5xx for France, Germany
    etc.

Possibly the best map shop in the country is in Hereford. They do mail
    order http://www.themapcentre.com/

[1] there are two in Cardiff city centre, the one nearest the public
library has the biggest map & travel book selection
