Having read the *police* (don't know what this means anymore)
precognition for my brothers crash in Jan '02 which was sent to his
solicitor and which reads along the lines of "he was a biker and it must
have been his fault even though I am not supposed to be biased".

Where the other party was uninsured and the police have taken her side,
she was crying and upset because she knew she wasn't insured, and my
brother was in a bad way and a biker.

It is looking like a small claims court case.

Anyone know how long these can take?

Also what else can be done to **** over the other party in every way
    possible?

My bro' has been out of pocket for nearly two years now and is loosing
the will to live WRT the case.

    All advice welcome.

    TIA

Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Martian
Small claims limit is (IIRC) £5K, or £1K for personal injury. If plod's
against him, he'll very likely lose.

    What was the question again?

  3. Get a very, very nasty solicitor and take out a private prosecution for
    no insurance.

The Older Gentleman was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
I thought that was almost a general rule when you need a solicitor? I
mean, there's *no* point in getting one who's nice and fluffy...

And pay him a monthly retainer and get him to claim his fees on top of the
    other stuff.
Makes him work really hard, because then he gets loadsamoney!!!!!

Much more than no win no fee types.
