What's that got to do with it? I simply meant that I'm still waiting, so

And besides, that implies that if you weren't a fat git[1] then you
might consider coloured leathers. MIB isn't just a colour, it's (mostly)
    a way of life.

Oh and look for MJK leathers, in Lozzo's sig, I think you'll find you
can get leathers, coloured or otherwise in your size.

Indeed you can. I had an argument with Graham at GLF Accessories, who
supplied my leathers. He didn't want me to have black leathers wih black
MJK logos. I got what I wanted, but had to compromise and have black
carbon effect logos instead. You can hardly see them.

  9. he didnt argue with me. to every question that started 'what
colour...' came back the same answer....

    black.

he got the message in the end.

black leather, black stitching, black logos, black stretch panels....

Works for me. Since I am in (or very shortly will be in) the market for
new leathers, how much did people pay for custom made GLF ones?

Spot on, for the 2-piece and 1-piece suits. MJK also do a range of
separates. I have an off the peg Simply Black jacket with a matching
pair of Sport trousers that were made to measure. This option came in a
fair bit cheaper. There are a number of jacket and trouser styles to
    suit taste and wallet.

Details are on the website, as Simian says. Address in my .sig.

Aye . It was the made to measure I was curious about. Never saw the 15% bit
    mentioned.

<dumb q> Is made to measure really worth it? When I loose the next stone,
I'm tempted by either them, or Heine Gericke tricky

I bought my MJKs when I was wholesaling another make of leathers to bike
dealers in this area. I also didn't buy Gericke leathers when I worked
for them, despite getting alot of shit from my managers for turning up
for sales meetings on the bike in my MJKs. Make your own mind up there.

That is, and makes perfect sense. Except that I'm not sure what makes good
quality stuff. Tricky one the Ride (IIRC) test at least two years in a
row, yet Lozzon dunt like em. See my problem?

Because they don't fit me and my long body/short legs. They also aren't
that good a price at 379-99ukp for the pair when compared to the MJK
separates. You'll need to add another 45-96ukp for the upgrade to
Hiprotec Sport armour (which you'll need cos the standard CE armour is
bloody awful to wear, just ask Timo). At the end of the day you end up
with a suit that is a compromise on fit, and you're nearly 450 quid out
of pocket for the privilege. I'd go that little bit extra and have MJK
M2M separates with the easier to wear CE armour already included in the
price, which is what I did.

I love my MJKs. They're comfy, and they feel all nice and soft.

Oi, Lozzo, what do I need to put on/rub into these leathers to keep
    them like this?
