Ima going to Mena Arkansas on October 5-6-7. I will be staying at the
Sun Country Inn and some are staying at the Lime Tree. We plan to ride
the Pigs Tail or trail or whatever its called. We did it last year on
our yearly trip. Whoever wants to go is welcome to come along. Looks
like there will be about 21 going so far.

I'll be in northern AR that weekend, a bit east of there. Going to a
    party.

I'll wave if I see you on the road.

His the the road Hillary took on the campaign trail? Is that why it's
    called the Pig Trail? ;-)

Actually I heard that KFC is going to be offering a Hillary meal in
    anticipation of a possible victoy.

It will include a fat thigh, small breast and a left wing.

    Pffffpttt.. Damned trouble maker..

On a easier note.. The Green One is safe to ride, again.. Got all
the critical damage repaired.. Just a few little cosmetic items are
still on order.. Maybe they'll be here by the time RedShad gets' his
    ride to Mena put together..

What's that little ride look like on your agenda ? I'm thinking about
    it.. Regards.

law and were riding to Flower Mound to meet some other
riders...leaving Flower Mound at 7:00am) ...Saturday morning we ride
to the Pigs Trail...Sunday morning we ride home..real simple..laid

That is this coming Friday ? Nope.. I can't make it by then.. Jeez.. I'd
    sure
like to make one more Mena run, this year.. For some reason I have been
thinking in terms of one more week.. Damn.. guess that little wreck rattled
    me more than I thought..

Every time I take a look at the Green Vulcan, I'm finding more and more
damage to the sucker.. Every time Micah tears something down on it, he
finds more hidden damage.. After this session over there, today.. I believe
we've finally got it pretty well nailed down and looking for complete
    repair..

Just waiting for the additional parts that we've ordered.. At least now..
    the
bike is safe to ride and what is left is just cosmetic.. whew.. I sure was
    lucky
    on this one..

  7. Hope u plan doing the Talimena Drive to get to Mena.

We go to Talihina a few times a year.

The quickest (and much better than the superslab) is:

    75->69
    to Stringtown, OK
then 43 East to Clayton. Nice road. Little traffic. Scenery.
then figure it out to Talihina

W did the Pig Trail (and then 23 onto Eureka Springs then Hot Springs
the next day) a month ago when it hit 105!

We left Allen Starbucks @ 6:00Am and were gassing up in Talihina at
9:05AM. Using the above route. Did about speedlimit+5.

If you can...Take 7 South from Eureka but stay on 123 (East & West of 7)
when you can. I've never shifted so much. VERY twisty.

You should really think about retirement one of these days so you can
go somewhere on a moments notice...or atleast 11 days notice. Me
thinks maybe theres a kitchen pass problem??? lol

The trip is planned for one week from this coming Friday.. right ? lmao..
That is what I have been thinking all along.. I guess the comment about
leaving "Friday morning" is what threw me.. <grumble.. grumble> Damn
Republicans don't even know how to talk, anymore.. Dates in one place
and day of the week in another.. Sheesh.. I'm reporting all this nonsense
    to Bjay..

Hell I might be able to make it, if it is going to be two weeks from now..
    Thanks..

LOL.. That's a "definite maybe".. Remember.. I'm still working on getting
this Green Vulcan put back together.. Can't make any long range plans till

hmmm... I don't think there is a kitchen pass "problem".. but, I'll check
with Bjay and see about it, though.. I've got several little items on my
list that has to be run by Bjay, anyway.. As Ratings Monitor for this
newsgroup, he should have all the answers to the issues..

WRONG question to ask Bjay, George.. LOL.. "Can you get a kitchen pass
to ride that far".. should just about cover it.. Try again.. and see how
    that works..

2 weeks for now everyone will be back from Mena.

It takes a hell of a support cast for the Irving man.
