Yessir.. can't improve on that .. Pretty well says it all..

Can't stop thinking about that Venture we saw at the motel..
One of the best looking motorcycles that I've seen.. Detailed to
    perfection..
I wouldn't like to own it, but it is surely a pleasure to look at..

Thanks for the ride home, Louie.. 'preciated that..

Yes that Venture was niiiice! Out of the 1,000 or so bikes in that area,
that Venture was right at the top for looking.
Right behind the conversioned Vulcan of course.

Thanks for the exaggerated, and yes, most detailed report. I made a copy
of it, to read it again later and to save, in my txmoto bike report crap
    book. (chuckle)

I never heard about even a guestimate about how many motorcycles were in
Mena and the area .. hmmm.. There was a bunch, weren't there ?
Every make, model and description was well represented.. Too many that I'd
like to own and ride.. Even more that I enjoyed looking over..
Texans seemed to be well represented in Arkansas, also.. Quite a few Okies,
but I didn't notice too many from the state of Arkansas, for some
reason.. I thouroughly enjoyed the short part of the Saturday morning ride
that I could participate in.. And, that wasn't even the best part of the
ride, from what I heard, later.. dammit..

The ride home started out just a bit too nippy, but it turned nice by the
time we got off the mountain..

BTW.. my offer to provide the ride to pickup that new GoldWing is always
open.. lol.. and I expect to be making that little jaunt, this week..

I'd say the huge majority of the rides were Texas based. Lots of folks from
Austin, Houston, etc. I guess not everyone down that way are pussies.
45 degrees F. from beginning of trip to the end. Quite a swing.
I'm tempted, but I've spent some time this morning researching suspension
upgrade options for the Valk. Ain't really THAT much difference in power,
but ride/handling is night and day.

I like the Valkyrie.. <chuckle> That is one sweet ride, and it suits you..
    I gotta
admit.. you and the Sheriff looked good on that GoldWing and you handled the
    hell
out of that sucker on the whole trip.. Regards

    No, we no c.
We did ask when we saw one (wing) if he was or knew Joe, but no contact.
Most of the group stayed up at the Lodge, some of us at the Sun Country.
Saturday we went somewhere and it was fun.
Redshad, Walker, and myself left early Sunday morning for dfw.
Did you all go up to that pig tail thing?

It's worth the trip to eat at the lodge. We ate supper there Friday and Sat
    nites.
We came back via 8 to 30. Last trip we returned thru Broken Bow.

I had not ridden a Wing so I rented one for this trip. Quite a bike. Loved
it. Well except for the wind. What do u wingboys do about the turbulence,
    'specially for the 2up?

Next time Redshad makes us go, you should tag along. Other than a few
locals, Redshad knows some good people to ride with. We had a great time,
    twice.

Trying to get my Valk to ride a little softer after being on that floating
ass wing. I let about 10lbs of air out of the tires, and dialed down the
rear a notch. Plus, based on an idea from an old-timer that rode with us, I
added a little Seafoam. He sez it stops gas leaks, so I'll bet it helps with
that foam and all in it. I just took a little test ride and I've improved
    the ride some.

I bet with each can of seafoam, the ride will improve. That foam is
    some pretty soft stuff.

Come on Louie, elaborate a little bit about what the heck the Goldwing
''deal'' means, for us pussies that didnt make the trip.

No tricks from this old boy, Joe.. I kept asking if anyone had seen you
guys.. Too bad.. we had a good
group of folks with us and everyone sure had a good time.. Without
reservations, some of us stayed at
the Sun Country Inn in Mena.. Some of our group had reservations at the
Lodge on the mountain.. We all
ate there a couple of times .. There were certainly a lot of bikes in the
area with a good turnout for the
    Saturday morning ride.. Regards

You guys just quit picking on my Seafoam stuff.. lol.. That's the first
    additive
that's ever been added to this Green Vulcan.. Soon as I locate that top
    notch
carburetor technician, he'll straighten out the leak thing.. for sure..

I'd be interested in those springs. Is the package too long to haul on my
    motorcycle?

Wonder if I can get Big Ed to pick'em up for me?
