I'm in town next week ..... not for long though.
(look for a large, slow-moving black-and-red blob towing what looks alarmingly like a rusty refrigerator....
....or should I say "look to avoid a large.......")

If you ended up on "Mayfield Road" coming out of Tarago (ie. over the
bridge and up the hill from the pub) then you probably did.

If you saw some bearded fool on a hill with a wheelbarrow and shovel,
    then you *definitely* did! ;-)

  7. I might, but I don't know how scruffy I'm gonna be from a whole day's
riding, and there's the matter of still having ~200km to ride to PI
    afterwards.

  11. Should've aimed for the drivers door, softer spot to hit.

  19. > Are you gonna' come to the dinner at Mulgrave on
    thursday night?
Geez, don't be a wimp! When we went down for the Supers we rode from Melb
to PI to register and check into the new digs, back to Melb for dinner then
back to PI for the night. Got talking with one of the head honchos,
staggered off to bed at around 1:30am, up at 5am to be at the track before
dawn. AND we were having trouble coping with the whole daylight-saving
thing (because we live in Qld and we have enough daylight that we don't have
    to save it).

Huh, young folk today, no stamina...

(PS hope you get on the active list)

  20. I refuse to answer on the grounds I might incriminate myself... ;-)

But we did take the "scenic" (read - we got bloody lost!) route to the
    island the first time.
