Meeting of The Minds

Bikers came from all points across the U.S. to our own Denton, Tx. this
weekend.. They gathered at the Radisson Hotel to contemplate and discuss the
issues which involve all motorcyclists' issues, everywhere in this country..
hmmm.. Much to my own disappointment, I was unable to attend .. There has
been some very good reports coming as feedback, and it sounds as though,
there was a good turnout and very good participation in the event..

The Walker family reunion was on the agenda for this weekend, also.. in
Texarkana.. I usually make that trip on the Green One, dammit .. I had to
pass on that one, also..

Then, too.. I had an invitation to attend a family oriented event in
Fredricksburg.. Without saying, there were some good bikers attending that
one.. Sheesh.. Fredricksburg and Kerrville are two of my favorite areas in
the Hill Country.. Good motorcycling country..

The mighty Green One was mostly sitting over this weekend .. Except for
short and local errand runs, it sat forlornly on the Mexican's patio.. What
a pity.. huh ? The local weather was almost perfect for a day run.. The
much needed rain is just across a couple of counties to the west and north
and should be here, sometime in the next twenty four hours.. Here's hoping,
right ? When it clears, the Green One is ready and we'll be out and about,
for sure..

group, you mentioned that ya'll have an annual Reunion, in Texarkana.
Once you said it was usually held at Spring Lake park! Bill did it go
well. Did Brian attend? I shoulda rode out there, and ate some fried
chicken with ya'll, and we could have chatted. maybe next time.’’

We've changed the reunion from Springlake Park to the one in Pleasant
Grove.. don't remember the name of it.. The first reunion we had there was
last year and it just didn't have the nostalgia as Springlake Park.. We've
been having our family reunions in Springlake Park since 1954..

‘‘Bjay,we've changed the reunion from Springlake Park to the
one in Pleasant Grove.. don't remember the name of it.. The first
reunion we had there was last year and it just didn't have the nostalgia
as Springlake Park.. We've been having our family reunions in Springlake

of city limits. Actually it was out in the country, then. Remember when
the 4 states Fair was out there, for what, 40 years, now it's on the Ark
side, I guess you know that.
Say, You didnt say whether, or not Brian attended.or not? just
