Hmm...a "gateway" drug. That's quite clever. The use of the word "gateway"
suggests that users of hard drugs seem to use weed before they use those
others. I applaud your word mastery. To think up a simile like that without
just parroting somebody else's thoughts shows you are surely a "thinker".

But what about other "gateway" drugs? Could there possibly be any other
drugs that could be considered "gateway"? Shouldn't *those* be illegal as
    well?

And who the **** are you to draw the line?

If memory serves, cigarettes were listed as "gateway" drugs too.

Come to think of it (not trying to compete with the "thinker"...just
thinking), aren't drugs like vicodin, xanax and ambien also considered
"gateway" drugs? I mean, wasn't Jeb Bush's daughter in re-hab for xanax
abuse and then certain other illegal drugs which she got hooked on?
Why, I'm appalled that you should ask such a thing. He is the webmastering
patent **** who moonlights as a thinker. Come on Waco, you know that! :)

  4. By your logic, we should also outlaw coffee and tea, they are addictive
stimulants and just crutches for weak people.

The USA tried your approach with a constitutional amendment. It
produced such awful results that the amendment was repealed within a few
years. It was called "Prohibition". We still suffer from the
mal-effects of that in the continued War on Some Drugs today.

Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

I don't recall ever asking "texgays" a question about anything. Texgays came
in here blowing about how talented he was and how it was impossible to ever
ride a machine with an extra few gallons of gas in a tank. Then started
rambling about "tracks" and how he'd use a Valkarie on a track to manuver
through tight turns. Then if that wasn't bad enough, it turns out texgays
doesn't even own a streetbike, but rather a dirt bike...if even that. Then a
little searching, and he's been run off from other groups for his idiotic
remarks about how someone who suffered head injuries deserved what he
got...even though the guy was wearing a helmet.

    The pathetic ramblings from texgays.

Thank you! Anything else you want to contribute to this list?

Better yet, approach is from the LDS angle. Coke is bad (caffeine) but
Pepsi's Okay (because of stock holdings in the company).

  10. Same age I found out. :) The army tends to do that to a person.

I used to feel sorry for them but now I've learned that it's not worth
    my trouble.

  11. I don't believe for one second that those making the stupid laws
against Marijuana didn't KNOW what the result would be. There's far
too many people making lots of money from the suffering of people
charged with possession alone. A lot of judges, clerks, cops, lawyers
and Jailers would be out of work were it legal.

It is if you are their property. If you are property then the owner
has every right to insure that his property isn't damaged or devalued.

Now put that statement together with the statement you hear each year
about how many months you have to work each year before you've paid
off your IRS bill for that year. Isn't it up to June now? So how can
you work without compensation unless you're property?

The point is that the things we purchase and take for granted are not
the same thing as those which others purchase with funds confiscated
from our labor without choice and under threat of death or serious
    punishment.

Sure. Its citizens should read the Constitution that defines the
limits of their government and understand that the roll of their
government is meant to be their nanny. Protect the borders from
invasion, run the post office, mint coins... that's about it.

The common good can be provided for at the local level once people
don't have 50%+ of their earnings confiscated each year (more when you
consider the layers of taxation rolled into the price of each product
    on the shelves).

Think of the released wealth the economy would have if everyone got a
100% (or more) increase in pay over night while their goods and
services dropped in price by 50%! Freedom is an exciting concept.
    Some people fear it.
    Next question.
