Mechanic needed

I've got a Suzuki Bandit, '98 model, that needs some work. It sat
around too long after I moved here from Houston. The old gas seems to
have gummed up the carbs. I'd like to get the carbs removed, cleaned up,
and synced. I may decide to upgrade to a Stage II kit also.

Can anyone recommend a mechanic? I'm ok with an independent mechanic
or a dealer. I'd prefer someone who has worked on Bandits before.

    Thanks ya'll for the advice.

  3. I'm currently having my VFR done over by Alan of Sportbike Dynamics in
petaluma. Although he isn't quite finished with my bike yet, he runs
a very VERY meticulous independant (one man) shop.

Watching him go over another customer's bike when I brought mine in
really instilled confidence in his work (he was checking every single
bolt on the 600 mile service).
