I was 'lucky' enough to attend last night for the booze and food fest
(mainly on the premise of trying to get some cheap stuff in the RfH auction
at the end of the night).

As a joke to the missus, I said "I bet each course if either cheese or
mushrooms"(as I cannot eat cheese and just don't like mushrooms). Ha
fucking ha on me, eh, with a veg & mozzarella starter, mushroom stuffed
chook for main and a big blob of mascarpone on the dessert. And 'cos I was
driving I couldn't even have more than 3 bottle of beer in the 6 hours I was
    there....

Yup. *6* hours. For 3 courses of food and a bunch of gongs being awarded.
Jeez those MCN guys are fuggin dull. And Marc Potter can't read an autocue
    to save his life.

But I *did* manage to pick up VIP hospitality at next year's Donington
MotoGP for 2 with guided tours of two pit garages with Randy Mamola for a
rather reasonable £325[1] and hospitality with Red Bull at *any* GP I want
next year for 2 over the weekend for £200.... Any suggestions on which
    European race I should choose?

[1] Well I would have them if some drunk wanky twat from CMC (how did
*they* win best multi-franchise dealer?? They fucking suck!) hadn't claimed
that the tickets were *his*.... Took about 45 minutes to get it sorted that
he was a twat and they were indeed destined for me, but he hadn't yet handed
back all the paperwork by the time I left just before 1am..... If I don't
get them in a week I'm burnign their fucking shops down, the cunts.

Brno 29th of August for MotoGP... Then do the return leg via Assen for
    the WSB on 4th September.

It's what the smart people will be doing this year.

  3. Well that's rather cheap and sounds like fun to me.
Err I'd probably go for either the Italian round (Mugello?) or Valencia
    - simply for the sheer enthusiasm of the crowds given the popularity of
    motorcycling in Italy and Spain.

Is it only Europe? I'd choose Laguna Seca [1] if not....

[1] Ticket booked, paddock pass scored, gonna be great...

*Any* round... But what with new self-employment and purchase of house in
France in recent months then I'm going to be in Mainland Europe next summer,
so I'd like to ride out to the one I choose, if at all possible...

I'd like to go to Laguna - nearly did this year for the WSB, but it's a long
way to go for a Friday-Monday jaunt....

My favourite would be Phillip Island, tbh. Been there twice now, but yet to
see a bloody bike go round it. And I *definitely* couldn't do that in 4
    days, including travel.....
