I'm in NSW and for some reason I thought insurers were not supposed /
allowed to include the MCIS levy in greenslips.

Long story short I get the same result online :(

Premium 212, GST 21, MCIS $100 total of $334 - more than I paid in total
for rego and CTP last year.

    WTF?

THe MCC has been complaining for a while. New government promises all
sorts of things, but who knows?

Meanwhile, if anyone's interested in motorcycle lobbying in NSW,
represent aus.moto at the MCC as I'm not really able to anymore...

good if you can go to meetings once a month (mondays) in North Ryde,
    but not required

Ouch :( If it helps, I found Allianz's greenslip for me was the cheapest
at $277, ($57 less).. Note also that the greenslip comparison site gave
a different breakdown of the charges than my renewal..

TBH I don't think the bike is that much cheaper to register than the
    Laser, considering.

except nrma ($100 less) just for greenslip
