Kate and Gerry McCann have spent more than £1m trying to find their
daughter Madeleine, the couple have said.

Couldn't they have saved a fortune by asking each other?

They paid each other half a mill for the investigative work they each put
in. Seems reasonable, but I'd ask to see receipts.

    You cynical bastard.

I am perfectly prepared to believe that they did not sell their
    daughter.

She probably wasn't worth much after she'd died under sedation, anyway.
