Maxxis tyres

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Grimley_Feindish, Nov 28, 2005.

  1. I bought a pair of Maxxis Goldspeed supermoto tyres (race intermediate
pattern but a road compound) as the Pirelli Dragons that came with my Duke
were not very confidence inspiring in the cold and wet. I was't expecting
much as I always thought Maxxis were a low budget tyre but I'm more than
pleasantly suprised so far. Even in their unscrubbed instate they offer bags
more grip in the wet and turn in very nicely (they were considerably better
after dropping the pressure to 26psi front and 28 rear from the 32/34 the
fitters had put in). Can't wait until we get a dry day to see what they're
    like then :)

I loved them. Maxxis tyres have come a long way in recent years.

Is that possible? You must have a CB450 Custom...
