It seems that Martyh Managed to kill a roo with the front of his bike on
the way to Hotham. Stayed upright, still riding.

it wasn't a good weekend at the office.....

after doing the St Andrews/Kinglake Rd in the wet on Sat morning on the way
to Hotham, about 3 kms into the Kinglake Melba Hwy road I came around a left
hander at about 80kmh and as I exited there was a Wallaby about as tall as
the headlight just every slowly hopping across the road, From first seeing
it to impact was about 2 seconds.. I just held on for the ride, then WAM!

Joe(BVR) was behind me and saw the roo fly a good 4 mt back from where it
came and over 5mt forward, it was killed instantly and collected my leg with
its leg(I think) on the way through, I have a nice bruise on my shin

held it upright, cant even remember if I rolled off the throttle or not,
    didn't apply any brakes.
I obviously did the right thing, there was no thought process just a
reaction and that was to hang on... none of this, well I could have do this
    or done that.

bike is missing a good part of the nose cone, front guard is cactus, left
fairing is cracked but in one piece (that is fur sticking out of the cracks
and shit down the side) the front subframe might be twisted and the
    thermo-fans are not working

so to top things off, got pulled over by Victoria's Finest, for doing
123kmh, he saw the damage and took pity on me and knocked it down to 111kmh,
he could have got me for having no indicator, I was just small bait, he was
after the Audi Turbo that was doing 160kmh on the Alpine way

  10. The plastic has been strategically hidden for later pick up.
