As subject really. Thinking of buying a set & I seem to remember some people
on here getting them. Are they ok? or not worth it?

I bought them, and haven't used them yet.

    But I will! I will...

I'll *insist* on talking to someone on the next rideout.

"You! You laddie! Stick this in your ear. I shall entertain you for the
next seventy miles with a real-time, ill-informed critique of your
    lines."

What sort of radios are you asking about?

FM broadcast, digital radios, PMR 446's perhaps?

  7. Tim S laid this down on his screen :
I have a set of these from Maplin and yes they work fine for either
bike to bike or rider to passenger. City Electrical Factors (CEF) have
a special offer on the rechargable battery pack and drop in charger for
    this model.

The ear speaker might be a little uncomfortable unless your helmet is
designed with an ear recess in the lining though. Each headset comes
with 2x velcro fixings, so you have the option of moving it between two
lids. The mic also seems to be pretty immune to wind roar.
