The copper who witnessed my eldest daughter being knocked off her RD125
twin, by some myopic woman in a Golf this morning in Warwick. Caz is
bruised and battered[1], but otherwise fine after hitting the deck and
rolling through one of those plastic 'Keep Left' bollards. It's a shame
the same can't be said of the RD, which she rebuilt herself. Mr Copper
also arranged for her bike to be recovered back to her house while she
was at the local hospital getting checked out. Good job she wasn't on
her CBR6.

[1] Maybe she'll put the armour back in her waterproof jacket now. "It's
too bulky" was the excuse.

Good job she's OK apart from some bruises.

Proportionally, I've had more near misses in Warwick than in any other
town I've ridden through. Presumably a combination of lots of old people
popping down to the post office and flustered mums on the school run
combined with some quite bizarre traffic 'management' in the centre of
town. I tend to avoid it if possible. There but for the grace of God go
I. Luckily there's a convenient A&E hospital there.
