Anyone got one they can lend me, or perhaps sell me.

I took the forks apart for a complete refurb on the 750 turbo last
April. I then smacked myself to bits, and now I've ventured back in
the garage I can't remember what goes where. I've got the genuine
Kawasaki supplement manual for the turbo, but as the forks are the
same as the base GPz, it just says "refer to base manual". However,
the base manual I have is for the cooking z750, without the anti-dive
    etc.

I'm rather hoping Lozzo can just reach out and pull one off the shelf
of the National Motorcycle Manual Archive.

Couldn't find the Turbo ones but the design of times were quite similar so
maybe the watercooled version is close enough :)

Make sure you get it right.
One of my pals had a new GPz1100 in the early eighties.
The anti-dive gizmo on the forks had been assembled wrongly
so the brakes locked up at about 100mph.
At least that was what he told me when he got out of hospital.

Anything on here any good (and it's similar to the GPZ550 isn't it)?

  8. Got it on cd somewhere, mail me your address and I'll post it. It was
downloadable from the Turbo forum and may still be, but during my
ownership time it was a CD job which somebody kindly sent me for free,
so only right I pass it on.

It's actually a manual for a KZ750 US model with a Turbo supplement, but
everything is there that you need.

The only advise I can offer is to blank off the anti-dive mechanism.
Adie found the links to the info, WUN made the bits and Lozzo fitted
them but at least the forks worked afterwards and it didn't look
    obvious.

Ta, but as per your other post, I'm downloading it now. I'll see if
    that works ok first.
Hmmm. The 'base manual' I have is for the KZ750 too, but not the
swoopy Gpx version. But the download looks like it's giving me the
    right version, so many thanks.

I'm not going to do that, for several reasons:
    - the anti-dive works ok on my bike
    - I've just had all the anodised bits re-done in lovely flat black
    - I want the bike to be as original as possible.

Looks like Mike has sorted that out for me, sorry but I got home late
    after visiting family.

Reassembly is the reverse of ...

That's just not helpful is it. I'll get my coat.
