This afternoon at Mallory Park John Reynolds put an appearance in. Turns
out he was doing a bit of testing to see if his broken leg was
sufficiently healed to race on Easter Monday. And according to the press
guy we chatted to it is an he will.
Looking down the thread list i see Mr Champion and Team were in there as
well. Not knowing what they look like they could be in the pics i took[1].

That's us, in the front just about to be embarrassed.

Aye - bringing up the rear in dscf1014.jpg, situation reversed in
dscf1016.jpg, in the middle in the next one and just in the frame in
    dscf1019.jpg.

    dscf1023.jpg is a cracker.

I cheated death diagnosing faults on *YOUR* equipment, ate two chockie
bickies[1] and got a couple of useable shots of you coming and going.

Sad to report I completely missed the One Fucking Golden Fucking
Opportunity by a couple of seconds. See, now you know why I need a
    camerman.

Oh yeah and I unloaded that tripod on you. Feel free to lend it to
    anybody who needs one.

No, John Reynolds dad[2] or at least I think so. I didn't get his name
but he had one of his sons who races a class I have seen on the telebox
    out there this afternoon.

Local bloke, been going to the park every day it is open since he were
in short trousers. Got two kids in racing apparently. Neither of them
listen to a word he says.

[2] Make that two GFOs gone missing.

    Was he Scottish? :)

The Beeb seem to think Reynolds is Steve Hislop moved to Nottingham judging
by their latest teletext stuff that I read...

Who'd want to see footage of Auvache after he's filmed himself.....?

The mental imageI now have is one no sane person should have to have
    experienced.....

Yes but given a choice I would much rather not.

Notwithstanding any arguments about competency there are other jobs I
would much rather be doing. Holding the microphone for one.

Hey ho my pot is half full. It was a trying out experience for all of
us and I need to add much wider wide angle lenses for all my cameras to
    the list.

I think it is time for me to start experimenting with sticking video
clips up on the web. I feel urges that are compelling.

A video diary sort of thing might fit the bill.

steve auvache emerged from their own little world to say
Yes, you need to get those 125s going around the outside of Champ into the
    frame

Oh, I should think they'd be on a pretty tight line around him. I mean,
    he's not *that* incompetent.

    Is he?

Actually it needs some technical wizardry that I don't have to sort it
out. Trouble is you see is that when you get the two in the frame
together it looks for all the world like the bigger bike has been added
in slow motion. It is like watching a jet-ski go in front of a
    supertanker it is.
