    I need a few litres of 15W-50 semi-synth, and I bet I won't be able to
get it in Halfords on the way home from work.

Any recommendations for an online supplier?

Why not go fully sunth - Halfrauds do Mobil1 in that viscosity for about
    40 quid for a gallon.

make sure you're checking it when the engine is hot and it's been moving
around a bit. otherwise, it can appear completely empty in the gauge but
there's still loads in there, and it's not good to overfill it especially
if you're prone to the odd wheelie.

good to see you at the weekend btw.

    IIRC, the [engine|clutch] doesn't like fully-synth.

Try the nearest real car spares shop.

Aye... but the service indicator came on whilst on my way home on
Sunday, so I thought I'd better do something about it.
Mine are definitely odd. The landings are terrible, too.
    You too, and H.

They'll be shut by the time I could get there.

    Read what you just wrote.
£40 a gallon for lube oil. Well I suppose some of you are gullible enough to
    do so.

I don't use that stuff - Cheap 10-40 at a tenner a gallon and change it
(in the Pan) every 4000 miles.
