MAG's "RAV" campaign: the tedium, in full

    Well, it was pretty obvious the guy
    MAG invited wasn't going to show.

    So I invited my councillors to.

    One of them, what with the election
    campaign in full swing and all, was
    too busy.

    Another only got the email a day
    too late.

    The other turned up. Or so I believe.

    Except.

    Except apparently despite stating
    I was not a member (I've not been
    to MAG meet since the mid '90s)
    they are "my group".

    My conclusion?

    You could have given any speaker
    of any Cyrillic-rendered tongue a
    transcript of my email and they'd
    have scored higher in an exam on
    the "comprehension" side of it than
    any councillor I emailed.

    Sad. But true.
