machine shop recommendation please

Hi,
I'm looking for a recommendation (hopefully first hand) on a machine shop in
the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay/Silicon Valley area.
Good work is of course important, but I'm almost more concerned about the
price.
I need to get cylinders over bored, head ported, and components balanced.

I had some work done on a pair of rods at Gromm Racing Heads in San Jose.
They were very good about helping me stay inside my budget. This was on
the recommendation of a dealer who farmed out work to them.

 

Engine Dynamics (Petaluma) did the head and over-bore on my NX650 last
winter and I was very pleased with the work done.

I had just moved to California (Salinas Valley) and didn't "know"
anyone so I called a bunch of shops within a 100 mile area till I
found someone who knew more than me-but I had studied the masters John
Robinson, Kevin Cameron, Gordon Jennings et al and knew what I wanted.
