Yes, thank you Mr Mu... Ooh, I'm not allowed to say that any more. Who
    shall we turn to?

The owner of The-Appelation-That-Dare-Not-Speak-Its-Name has got a tad
tetchy about its use. It seems that his growing legion of stalkers can
use it to cast spells on him. Or something.

Coo. He didn't think about changing his email address, though, did he?

Posts that all over usenet like a rash, and doesn't like other folks
discussing mints, Sussex (and West Indian) wicketkeepers, TUC General
Secretaries, Cockney rhyming curries, Scottish comedians, ex-F1
commentators, Australian rivers, or old Radio 2 DJs?

    It's bizarre.

    Ahem.

<steps on to soap box, pushing Ginger type off>

If I may quote from the Honourable Gentleman's posting of the 14th inst:

"ten laps later when the race ended TKW were almost exactly a lap down
    on us."

    Almost exactly? ALMOST EXACTLY?

What was that about sloppy? (Google suggests you may wish to have
several other offences taken into account).

    I thank you.

    <relinquishes soapbox>

Almost exactly as in Alex was looking at the tailpiece of the TKW bike
as he crossed the line for the last time. AIOW, a lap all but a few
    yards. Almost exactly a lap.

don't they work on Sundays ?

BTW, my niece's boyfriend's a copper with wilts constabulary. He said

    None? Gah!

I specifically avoided the M4 in that area today, taking the A4 from
    Marlborough to Newbury instead.

Not complaining, though. Lovely bit of road, and not a plod in
    sight! :)
