As I are travelling up the M1 on a hired bike, may look slightly unsteady
and riding carefully (!), if anyone spots me on a Divvy 900, Black Leathers,
Yellow Helmet with UKRM on the back give me a wave or summat 'cos I will be
trying to remember the route and stuff.
Only reason for using the motorways is I can't remember the other 3 routes
taken the last few times as when in a line of nutters or as a pillion it's
more a case of keeping up and looking around rather than actually taking
    notice of the route IYSWIM.
Anyone travelling up from Sarf Lundun.Kent welcome to email me to make the
trip more interesting and prolly get lost together ;-)

    M1 to J24A
    A50 (for about 5 or 6 miles)
    A38 towards Derby (for about 4 or 5 miles..maybe a few more)
You'll then come to a roundabout with a mcdonalds and patrol station on
    your left.
Straight over the roundabout (still A38)
After 300 or so yards there's a slip road, go up it.
    Turn left.
About 1 1/2 miles later there's a left into NSL and Hulland ward is
    signposted from there..

Are those necessary in the midlands?

I was briefly worried that I moved nearer the midlands, but I still recieve
BBC South and it's 120 miles to EOSM (which I'm not going to) so I stopped
    worrying.

Having lived in the North, South and now the Midlands[1], I *like* living
    in the midlands.

    You live in Stafford *now*?

How do you get to - and, specifically home from - UKRM drinks, then?

    And, like, work and stuff.

Train, Takes a couple of hours each way. It's not too bad really. Gives me
time to read and do a bit of work type stuff without any distractions.

I had you pegged as an honourary Southerner, but you're back to full
Northern Monkey status (you'll no doubt be ambivilent to hear).

  13. Heh, I went to school in Stafford! It rocks. Well, it's not far from
    Cannock Chase, anyway... ;o)

    M1 to J24A
    Many thanks Rob.

Very similar to what I had planned. Difference being one junction up the M1
    and across on the A52.

    Buy U a pint if I don't get lost
