I'm just back at Tori's after an evening savouring the delights of the
A+E dept at the wonderful James Paget hospital in Gt Yarmouth.

To cut a long story short, it appears the rear suspension collapsed
because something broke, locked the rear wheel into the inner mudguard
and threw me off at about 50mph on a narrow North Norfolk lane.

Damage to me is serious bruising to my right hip my right knee is badly
bruised and swollen and my right ankle has taken a nasty knock which
prevents me putting any weight on it. Not too sure about damage to the
bike, but it aint looking good.from what I've been told. Auntie
Carole's boys are taking it home or me as I type.

    Cue "clumsy ****" posts.

We don't have enough time to have more than one trite phrase!

He's a clumsy ****, as he stated himself and no other derogatory remarks
    will be countenanced!

    Dave

    PS. GWS you clumsy ****.
PPS. I found the NS handled loads better with an inflated rear tyre and I
*didn't* fall off in the 35 miles before I inflated it! You clumsy ****.

When you are mobile again pop in to my studio for a brew and review some
    images.
It usually accelerates the healing process. GWS.

Don't think you can put clumsy **** against mechanical failure.

Unless the failure was attributable to untightened bolts or such.

    GWS.
