  1. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
    Ages since I read any, but from memory;

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress
    Stranger in a Strange Land
Starship Troopers (the one BTGH lampoons), space opera.

  3. In all seriousness if you shaped up the composition and framing, perhaps
waited for a different light direction or colour, it would make a prize
    wining picture.

So its a good picture apart from the composition, framing and lighting. You
    flatterer you!

To be honest I don't think I'd like to exploit my shed in that way.

  6. Tried Peter Hamilton? I love his Night's Dawn trilogy, and the new one,
    Pandora's Star, is bloody fantastic.

The Older Gentleman was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
Aye, it certainly is. Can't wait for the next part. That said, all his
books that I've rad have been very, very good. Even the early ones.

I liked the Mindstar stuff, but the rest were a bit tedious.

  13. Don't take it to heart. It's just that with those mentioned few tweaks
I've seen photos win major awards. That one has all the potential.
It may like to be exploited, just a little...........

    Oh christ no!

The Moon is a harsh Mistress is an entertaining enough read; some might
consider it best suited to younger readers.
Stranger in a Strange Land is crap.
Time Enough for Love has a few good bits in it, but it's mostly crap.
It might appeal to adolescent males with an interest in incest.
